I got a bear tag!

Well it took me 6 years, but I finally got a Bear tag! Im pretty excited about this. My season is Sept 10th to Oct 21. Im going up on the 10th of July to do some scouting.I cant wait to see what is there. Ill also be hanging my stands for deer season on this trip. Did any of you apply and get a tag?

Congratulations DeerCamp, I have been applying for 3 years and got one also. Season start Sept. 15 runs thru Oct. 26 for the Newberry area I can't wait to get UP and do some scouting.

Congrats guys on pulling that bear tag.. I just checked today and I was unsuccesful hopefully next year.. I have been applying for 3 years now..

Congrats DC. I put in for the point this year. I plan on group hunting next year. This year I'll be up just north of the bridge filming a group.

Congrats! Yes, I to applied and got my tag for this year also. Matter of fact, I get mine every year I have applied. The trick is actually getting a bear.
I hunt in Baraga area north of Hancock in the third hunt.
I have had bear in at the bait, unfortunately, they were coming in during the night. Grrrrrrrrr!
I am trying to get mine with my bow. Figure I might as well make it more difficult. LOL

A bear hunt would be pretty sweet, congrats on getting a tag finally, that would be frustrating with 5 years of not getting one tho
