Shot Nov. 15th in Eaton County.
We watched this buck for 3 years and have his right side sheds from his previous 3 racks.  We're 99% sure he was 5.5.

We have a camp on the western border of the county. Thanks for the compliments, he weighed 170#s dressed. We won a free night stay at the Americana (I think thats the name) for biggest buck at the hotel. So that was cool. We will be back to staying out there this year, no hotel (except for maybe one night lol).

When are we going to get some new bucks up here for 2009? I'm stuck in CA for the fall, so I'm counting on living vicariously through all of your success. Lets see some big bucks!

Got myself a 6 point buck this saturday. Not a big boy, but given my very short window of opportunity this year, I was happy to have a chance at any deer. The photo files are too big to post, but I'll try to resize and post those later.

For the whole story and a few pics, check out my write up here. November 7, Got My Michigan Buck Down
