Batteries for your camera's

I can't say as to how long they'd last. 

I've used AA in my camera for years - I think longevity may depend more on how often you recharge them than anything else.    The 6-volters we use on our Moultries last 2-3 years and cost us $14 each which to me is a pretty good deal.

 
I know I just asked this question...But didn't see your post.  Do you know where I can get some rechargeables at 5000 mAH capacity?  I have 2500, and have had problems with them losing power fast and not triggering as well...especialy in colder temps.

I would try ebay, I looked there the other day and ran acrosss some. Let us know if you get any and how they work b/c I'm in the same boat as you and bought the 2500mAh, do I dare ask how many of the 2500mAh you bought? I hope you weren't like me and have 24[:)] (running 2 D-40)

No I just bought 8 fortunately.  When and if I get some I'll keep you posted.  I just heard that the 2500 wasn't enough power for the trail cameras, and have been trying to find the 5000 for almost a year now.

Yeah, with mine fully charged the batteries only read like 95% battery life if I remember correctly.

Fully charged, everytime I put mine in, they would read between 80-90%! [:'(]

Maybe mine read that too, like I said I ditched them awhile ago so I dont remember exactly. They were junk.
