Anybody read the results the dnr came up with from the online info hunters left them for their harvests for the 2008 season? It's pretty interesting and encouraging in most aspects. Some numbers I liked were the 25,000 increase of total antlerless deer taken from 2007, I'm sure some were spikes or button bucks but still thats awesome to hear! Antlered deer taken were also decreased by 19,000 some, even though more antlered overall were taken those are some decent numbers herd management wise. The number of bow hunters decreased slightly, and the number of gun hunters was slightly up. Check it out if ya have time, I hate numbers when I have to crunch em, but it's cool to see that stats esp. from the areas you hunt! Here's a link.
