Got a GREAT deal today

I stopped at Dick's sporting Goods Store this afternoon . I had a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase plus a coupon for 150 points . I was looking at the Deer hauling carts on sale for $60 and debating on whether or not to buy one . One of the associates said "I have a deal for you" . I'm thinking yeah , right . The carts they sell now are Field & Stream made by Ameristep and sold exclusively at Dick's .
They had one of the Ameristep Grizzly Deer Carts marked at $89.95 . He said it had been in the store for a couple years , was the same as the Field & Stream except for the packaging . He said you can have it for 50% off and we will honor your coupons . It rang up for $59.97 and then $29.98 at 50% off . He then subtracted the $10 , added tax and I paid $21.40 . I think I got a great deal !!!
Now I need some deer to haul ! [:)]...[:)]

thats a great deal i want to get one of those this year my back is geeting worse and dragging looks like its out of the question,as it is i may stay on the ground this year and leave the climber home

Nice pick-up eddie. Dicks is still my favorite store. I seem to get better deals there and staff is willing to work with you. Bought a Canoe at the Eastview store month and a half back. They had three of the same kind on sale from $599 marked down to $499. I noticed they were all scratched or damaged in some way so I asked about it. They came down another hundred to $399. Took that bad boy up to the Adirondacks 2 wks ago and I absolutely love it! Great store and glad to see someone else getting good deals there too.

Way to negotiate Fast Eddie. I just bought the same cart (Ameristep Grizzly) at a Cabela's sale for $39.95. So far I can vouch for it's ability to move several bales of hay around easily. I hope to test it on a deer this October. We have to drive almost 90 miles to go to the Dick's Sporting Goods in Hammond. I wish there was one a bit closer.

sounds like the cart for me i assume it folds flat for storage?

It folds flat and the wheels are taken off and stored inside. It's not real light because it's steel...I believe it's about 37 pounds.
