New pack

Postby Sailfish » Wed Aug 26, 2009 8:09 am

Just got this yesterday. So far I like the looks of it.
2.0 water bottle, lots of handy storage, can be a fanny (little big IMHO for that) or use the shoulder straps.
What I envision is an all in one pack that when I am humping my climber into the woods on my back, I can turn this around and wear it backwards. I'll have access to any needed contents and it won't be in my way.
Price was good too(54% off)

camofire.com
daily hunting deals.

They have maybe 1 or 2 items a day, and about 1 thing a month that actually interest me.

I wanted a camo camelbak, but they are very $$$$$, then I saw this all in one thing, I said "thats worth taking the chance".

I have a Badlands 2200. Great pack. Liked it so much I bought a Super Day Pack for a brother-in-law. Broke a buckle on mine and and also a zipper pull last season, so I emailed them. Got a whole set of buckles and zipper pulls by mail in a few days. Great customer service.

I am a big believer in buying quality gear. It is less likely to fail and generally lasts a lot longer. Badlands makes a quality pack and does have a great warranty. Now usually the warranty is the last thing I want to use on a piece of gear, especially gear that I rely on. But sometimes things do break, and then it comes in handy.

I also have the Badlands Super Day pack. It will be the last pack I buy. Unless it is to upgrade to another Badlands pack.

Like many, I have wandered in the the wilderness searching for the perfect pack, that didn't break, rip, would hold what I wanted, where I wanted. And that was comfortable to wear all day. Those days are gone.
They are expensive. You will pay. And you will be done.
