G5 Tekan II's

Anybody else use these broad heads? I bought some for this season, shot once but i missed :/ do you guys like these? What are some advantages/disadvantages you guys have encountered? Hopefully i get to see what they can do sometime soon!

I really like these, I bought the 1 5/16 a few years ago. I just bought the 1 1/2 replacement blades. All I can say is wow, now thats a hole. There a bit of a pain to pull out of my target, and the O-rings have to be replaced here and there. Over all they fly great for me. I shoot CX maxima hunters with 100 grain tekkan II's.

I was shooting them . They fly great and do a job on deer ....... Then i found out they are illegal to use in New York state because they are considered a "barbed" broadhead . They sell them with a notice that they are Illegal to hunt with .........

I've been useing them for over 4yrs. now and I've not been disapointed in them. They fly great, leave a big exit hole and the ease in which to replace the blades is great. There are no set screws to mess with. I've killed over 10 deer with them and I've never had a broken blade with them. Good luck deerman69 [:)]

I personally really like these broadheads, shot a big doe one year with them. She didn't go far but didn't leave a big blood trail as I thought it would. It did the job though and cannot complain. I shot her through her ribcage and it came out through the front leg. She went 45 yrds.

I have been skeptical about these broadheads a guy at gander mountain talked to me about them and said they work awsome. for years i shot spitfires with no problems i guess i want something that will expand faster and not until it gets inside just need some more feed back on these tips[:)]

Why would you want your broadhead to not open up until it was inside? I want mine to be open before it enters.

thats not what i am saying spifires the way they are designed are not fully opened until they are inside the deer. g5 open on impact rear deployment thats what im saying
