Postby Hippy375 » Tue Oct 05, 2010 1:48 pm

Greetings Fellow Michigan Hunters,

New guy here to the forum. Thought I'd say "hello". Looking forward to gun season. Bow season is here but I haven't been out yet (had military duty opening weekend).

Anybody get anything?

Also, I've been trying to find some property to hunt and have been unsuccessful. Any advice is very much appreciated!

R,

Scott

Welcome!  Look forward to your kill pictures before the season is over! [:)]

In addition to the Mi hunt set up, Google Earth has really helped me narrow down public land spots on the SW side of our fine state.

Peek out the rest of the forums on here for a load of great tips from hunters that are way better than I am!

Happy Hunting!

Ideally, I'd find a few guys that are interested in possibly starting a "club" to lease property.  Public land is too crowded, too many folks that don't practice QDM and almost too dangerous (during gun season).

I would be interested in that also. Even the private land I used to hunt was scary at times also. I just love being in the outdoors.
