Do you actually have a buck or bucks picked out yet that you want to target this season? I know some people are super selective and will only shoot a buck that they have decided on during the summer. My trail cameras took pictures of mostly does with fawns this year so my best buck on camera is only a really tall narrow 5 pointer. Cool looking deer, but obviously not my first pick. I know we have many big deer on the property but they are really cagey and don't show up on the trail cameras often.
If you have targeted a deer and have a picture, post it up. Also give us your game plan to take him out. Since I don't have one picked out, I will focus on the doe bedding areas during the rut. It is amazing how the big boys come a calling.

No real hit list this year. Had a real nice one on cam last year and planned the whold first month of hunting around him and he had the nerve to not show up!

Here are the bucks on my hit list from one of our family properties. I try to shoot 3.5 year olds but it isn't always possible where I hunt due to neighbors. The larger deer I believe to be 3.5, the tall six is probably 2.5 and the junky racked buck is at least 2.5 but I think he's 3.5 and has poor genetics. I would like to hear your thoughts on age so please give me some feedback.

Between work and a new baby, I have not gotten the cams out yet! The buck on my hit list is brown with big horns...
I do have a pic from December of a buck the may be of interest. I saw him once in person on the last day of this past season. His right side is slightly straightened and is a little screwed up, but he should be nice sized assuming he made it from January to now.
