2009 Season in Full Swing

The long awaited and highly anticipated archery season is finally upon us. My opener, I'm ashamed to say, included a miss on a doe. The combination of trying to shoot over my cameraman and a rushed shot led to the miss. I'm not discouraged though as I will be back in the stand in a few hours. Hopefully this isn't a common theme that will pursist throughout the season especially since I practice shooting my bow year around and consider myself a good shot.
 
Did anyone else have any opening day encounters?

Saw four does on opening day, but too far away to try a shot.  Got a doe on the afternoon of the second Tuesday.  Been raining pretty much ever since.  Have a good season and better luck next time.
