Favorite Knife

My favorite hunting knives are made by my husband, Tom High, who has been a knifemaker for over 40 years. I use the Michigan Hunter for big game, the Bird & Trout style for fishing and birds, and the Red Mountain for small game. Many hunters, outfitters and guides all over the world use his knives. They hold a superb edge and are beautiful to look at. He uses ATS-34 Steel in a subzero quench. He also is an artist. He does the scrimshaw ( hand engraving) on the knives also! This year archery season I went rhough one Bull Elk and 4 Muledeer and it still shaves hair!  AWESOME
