Controlled Hunts Plumbrook/Ravenna

[Ohio farms]

Anyone ever hunt at Plumbrook or Ravenna Arsenal?  Over the years I have been to both a few times. There are some monster bucks in those woods.

havent heard of either where are they located? im open to check out any place thats holding big deer.

They are both lottery type places to hunt run by the Divison of wildlife. Check the ohio divison of wildlife and click on control hunts.  It's too late to apply this year.  Ravenna Arsenal is in Ravenna  and Plumbrook is just sout of Sandusky. If you are picked in the lottery you and a partner are assigned a specific.  Both are military instilations.

oh ok , heard of the lottery hunts i applied for the geauga contolled hunt last year, got the form to send back in but blew it off.
sandusky wow thats a nice long drive. theres a farm in andover that has a huge corn fields my neighbor said i can get permission to hunt anytime i wanted just the hour drive there is a killer.
