Ohio's 2009-2010 Deer Bragging Board & Harvest Count

Postby FFKEVIN » Mon Oct 05, 2009 6:53 pm

Alright, it's time again to see how many deer are taken in OHIO, by the D&DH Forum members for the 2009-2010 season.

When you post just add to the total...

Photos and stories are great but not necessary. (Please try to resize it to 640x480 or 800x600! If you need help, PM or e-mail me)

I haven't got anything yet, so the count starts at -

OHIO DEER COUNT
Does - 0
Bucks - 0

(Let's see if next year we can double last year's total.)
2008 - 2009 - FINAL COUNT
Does - 10
Bucks - 7
Button Bucks - 4

From the Buckeye Big Buck Club website - Buckeye Big Buck Club Link

"Each year the Club honors hunters who harvest "typical" deer which meet the minimum 140 scoring requirement and "non-typical" Ohio deer meeting a minimum 160 scoring requirement."

I hope your nice buck makes the cut!!!

FFKevin:
Is that 140/160 B&C, after deductions?

The reason I'm asking is that I taped a friend's buck from last year, and using B&C after deductions I got 140 3/8. It's easy to see an official scorer coming up with a few eights more or less than that, so it will be close, unless the Buckeye Big Buck Club doesn't subtract side-to-side differences. He should make it easily if it needs 140 gross.

Thanks.
