Add another SC Deer Hunter to the list. I live and hunt in the southern part of the state. Early indications are that the deer are moving and hungry so I will feed them and then they will feed me.

From South Lex co here almost on the Orangeburg county line. So far 3 kills this year and chasing a 10 point that has eluded me for 3 years now, I think this is his last year though.

Btw, I dont want to seem like Im begging here but next month I will be deploying to the middle east. I am looking for a place to take out two more deer, preferably does, Im not into the trophy deal just the meat. Our hunt club here has basically died due to the hog infestation. 600 acres and roughly 400 hogs, Its a shame too because usually we could take a deer anytime we wanted now all we see are the hogs (already 2 in the freezer)
Im not looking for a free ride just the opportunity to take a few more for the freezer for the wife while Im gone.
I can go long range up to 400 yards or short range, matters not to me. Im used to shooting in the 200-350 range, so me blowing up the woods and running  everything away shouldnt be and issue.
Also I have my own tags to burn so as to not have to rely on someone else to provide them.
Thanks
Phil
