Whitetail Hunt on E-bay

Postby Whitetail 101 » Sun Sep 27, 2009 3:58 am

I just found a Whitetail Hunt in Buffalo Cty. Wi. on E-bay.
Looks like a great hunt at a very reasonable Rate.
Rut hunt if you can believe it.
My Question is
1) Has anyone used E-bay to book a hunt and how did it work out ?
2) I heard Buffalo Cty. is the best P&Y Cty. in the county ?

Any imput would be great.

I have not used Ebay to book a hunt.. I think I would be a little leary about it, I would call or do a little research online or see some testamoines.. Was it just some one who cant make it, or was it the owners just trying to fill some empty spots?

Did some research and everything seems to be legit. I guess it is a private land owner practicing QDM that thinks he has to many 140 class bucks and wants to remove a few to give the Big ones more space and less competition.
As soon as I get the O.K from the warden i am going to put in a bid.
Thanks for the imput.

I'd be careful buying deer hunts on e-bay, sounds kinda fishy to me....Deer and Deer hunting mag, has several Wis. outtfitters in the classified ads in the back pages. You can count on these outfitters to give you a great hunt.  I'd also atleast make some client check up calls to past customers, the outfitter should provide these contacts, if they are legit.
