West Michigan (Grand Rapids Area) Scouting Report

So as some of you know, I'm stuck in California training for my job til the end of December. But I am flying back 3 times to go hunting. The weekend of Oct 22nd, Nov 5th and Thanksgiving weekend.

I'm curious if I could get any scouting reports in regards to general observations in the area leading up to next weekend. I am only going to get to hunt Friday morning/afternoon and most the day saturday. Short and sweet, so I'm banking on a lot of luck haha. Unfortunately thats the cards I've been dealt this fall.

Any info would be much appreciated. I'll be hunting land behind my house in Grandville, MI on Friday and then down by Gun Lake on Saturday on some agricultural land.

Man I wish I could help ya, but I have not seen much of anything, besides deer on the side of the road at night! [8|]

Hopefully someone will pipe up with some good news for ya, but I haven't seen very much.  But I haven't been out as much I usually do either.
