Have you located the buck you will be hunting this season either by trail camera or your own eyes?
 
I have about 20 pictures of a mature 10 point that will be the focus of my season. He is a big bodied deer pushing the 200 lb mark. Although he probably only scores around 120-130 he is an old animal that I am more than happy to pursue.

Yes'sir, they are running in batchelor groups. Nice 6,8,9 pointers in my back yard every afternoon[:D]. Two toms and one jake showed up this afternoon.

Doe and two fawns come in three three times a day. I'l post some photos....soon.

hey everyone ..im new to the forum ..i live and hunt in eastern nc ...the prerut here this week is steady....i have taken two cow horns and a 8 pointer so far ..as today with the nor easter hitting us  we are takeing a break ....we never inticapated a nor easter the week we take our vacation but if it lightens up the hunting will be good ...

I hunt in eastern nc the storm let up enough this evening that I saw a few deer starting to move, so hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Back in October I got five pictures of a nice tall, heavy, symmetrical eight pointer on my trail cam.  My son took him last Saturday.  I am going to get it mounted for him and put a print of the trail cam picture in a frame to go along with the mount.  This is my first year using a trail cam and I have enjoyed using it.  At least you kind of know what's out there and maybe what's not....

I switched my target buck. Luckily he on the same property as my first buck.
