I said Merry Christmas to a Tow Truck driver friend of mine . He asked how I had been and I made the mistake of saying I had a bad deer season . He said , "not me and the boys . We got 9 deer off the property north of me and my son shot an 8 point" . They got 9 deer on some property about a mile north of where I live . That spoiled my day .......[;)]..[;)]..[;)]

My son and I had our best season in years over here in the Southern Tier of NY(Broome County).  Three Bucks and a Doe.  Biggest 8 point I've ever killed this year.  Haven't talked to anyone else who's taken anything around us.  It sometimes boils down simply to "Right Place, Right Time."  Last year was exactly the opposite.  Nothing!  But we still had fun regardless![;)]
