Hey guys, finally got my 2009 buck in SE Minnesota on Saturday. I had a shot at a beautiful buck with my bow on Thursday but hit a twig and it grazed him low. I tracked him but lost the blood trail after 1/4 mile, and I think he survived it. Decided to use the shotgun Saturday and got this guy at 4pm after my buddy shot a beautiful 7pt. at noon out of the same stand! Still have my doe tag, so I'll do some management with the bow later in the year!

Yep, both are going on the wall. I've shot a buck each of the last three years, but this is by far the biggest. I did european mounts on the other two, which look great, but I wanted the full mount on this guy.

Said it before, great looking deer....Is that a pic of the other deer that was shot from your stand by your buddy just a few hours before yours?

Yep. 4 hours apart, same stand.
