do cameras do any good from may through july?

I guess the only reason why i would put it on in may or early spring is to check on the health of our deer herd and the big bucks.  Got this one on my camera on may 14 last year(date is wrong at bottom).  To see a buck like this in may is a good sign he will be a big one.

to watch those antlers grow.. its kinda cool seeing em start out and grow into big 8's, 10's or even 12's.

It is worth keeping them up all year. You can easily keep track of any deer activity. Even though they may change there habits, why not get the pictures? Ive also gotten pictures of anything from squirrels and rabbits to coyotes and bear and everything in between. By the time the season rolls around you will be happy you had your cameras out.

i just went out yesterday to check my camera.. had 50 pictures on the sd card. got a lot of doe, some turkeys and got 3 pictures of a buck in velvet. its def. worth keeping them up.

I keep mine out all year. This gives me another excuse to go to the camp.

Yep I agree with all the other guys, I leave my cams out for 4 months at a time (SOLAR)
It's nice to see whats going through the area, like the other guys BIG BUCK the time he got his picture taken was at night which tells you alot about the buck, he is a old timer and most likely says bedded down during the day time and waits until night time to move around, now that this guy knows this he will have a better chance to bag him...
 
I have seen alot of pictures from my cams which at least tells me what is in the area at that time of the season. It's a good way to keep your pumped until the hunting season comes near.
 
Also read this mag this is by far the best deer mag I read gives alot of info about how the bucks and does move.

from 5-17-08 to 5-22-08 i had 54 new pictures and 3 different bucks coming in and out
