Thoughts on Remington Model 572

I was looking for some feedback on this little .22 and so I ask.  I have enjoyed the remington 760 in 300 savage so much that I have turned my attention to the little brother of the same manufacturer.  Anyone have one of these pump rifles and how do you like it?  Scoped or open sights, reliable?  I hear it shoots all the .22 ammo shorts, long LR's without problems.  Please tell me your experiences and how accurate is your plinker.  I'm hearing some folks say that the gun can't hit water from a boat and then others that swear by them....If scoped, what did you go with and for about what price?  I think I would  leave it unscoped and just go open sights.  I have started looking for one and any feedback would help.  About what price range for a gun in good shape?

Would have thought someone has some experience with this gun.  I'm really looking closely at buying one and need to know if there is a reason not to.  Any insight would be nice.
