2010 gun tags

I got my muzzle loader tags but not shotgun, talked to another guy today, same thing.  Anyone got shotgun tags in mail yet?

I got my shotgun tags just this week. One full season either sex, and one full season antlerless only. I will put in for two more in September after the daily draw starts. My county (Brown) usually has tags left at the start of the daily draw.

well what the heck, I saw on dnr I have the tags and according to that they were mailed out long ago.   thanks for the info, I imagine they will show up Tues.

Uh...when you initially filled out the appilication form back in April, you DID check the box that said that you wished to have $1.00 of your application fee to go towards Pat Quinn's re-election campaign fund, didn't you??

If you didn't, you may not see those tags until January 31st of 2011!!!! [;)]

You guys have a lottery system for your deer tags??????  If so, then WOW what a sucky way of doing things.

not sure if I follow, but not defending much state of IL is doing.  You need to see our bow tags.  We can buy over the counter, however, about 7 papers about the size of a credit card folded up, yes you need all 7, it honestly may be more than that. You can get combo either sex/antlerless.  Say you take a doe and you don't want to use your buck tag, you cannot buy just a doe tag. talked to another guy in Greene county, no shotgun tags for him either, so guessing they ran out of postage money before they got to us.

L2L, I just got my shotgun tags last week.  However, in regards to your comment on buying just a doe tag for archery....yes, you can buy just a doe tag.  I have done it.  Although the lady selling them wanted to argue with me telling me I had to buy the combo....another gal working said "yeah, he can buy just a doe tag"...so unless they have changed that in the last year or two you should check into it.
