I was thinking about the upcoming changes and there is a lot of talk over at HoosierHunting.com and since it is quite obvious that bow hunters in this state are going to make out like bandits if this rules go into effect (which I think they are going to). This is what I propose so this way everyone gets affected equally and I think this will go a long way in helping reducing the population.
Deer hunting in Indiana should run from Sept. 15th to Dec. 31st
Urban Deer Zone season: Sept. 15th to Dec. 31st Antlerless
General Archery season (statewide): Oct. 1st to Dec.31st Antlerless
Firearms season (including muzzleloaders): Nov. 15th to Dec. 15th Antlerless
Antlered Deer season: Nov. 1st to Nov. 30th with:
Archery: Nov.1st to Nov. 15th
Firearms: Nov. 15th to Nov.30th
The only thing I don't like is the 2 day gun hunt in october. The rest is ok by me.
