Tell what you think is THE BEST trail camera, and why you think so.

That's kinda hard to decide.  I would of said the Cuddeback Capture when it works.  I loved mine but after having to send back 3 replacement cameras and being told I would have to pay for the 4th one, I told them no thanks and will never use another one of there products again.

I have 2 of the Bushnell Trophy Cam's and really like them so far.  Battery life is great and the trigger speed is the same as the Cuddeback Capture.  I love the video mode on the camera and how it has multiple picture burst mode.

Reconyx makes the best trail cameras flat out, no exceptions. The flip side...you'll pay for it. I run Reconyx cameras next to the other brands in our testing timbers and you won't have an idea what you're missing until you run them all side by side. My Reconyx's have run over a year with the same batteries with thousands of pictures, in all weather.

Got my first and only cam in nov. of 2008, Reconyx RC60, (first and only, cause they cost so much[:@])have had it out year round and never had a single glitch with it. I beleive i read every review on the net about every trailcam made and Reconyx was the only one i couldn`t find anything bad being said about them...except they cost so much[:@].
I see they have a new model now..."Hyperfire" series...still only 3.1 megapixel though![>:]...i still might buy one anyway...
Also been thinking of building my own...lot of good info here...http://www.hagshouse.com/forums/index.php?act=idx

Ruby, Reconyx just sent me the new Hyperfire and it is also a superior camera. I would have missed a buck of a lifetime if it wasn't for the Reconyx because my Bushnell, etc, etc, didn't pick up the same buck in the same area. They are worth every penny, if you were to ask me. If it doesn't show you everything, it's not worth the discount!
