You guys have it all wrong. The question isn't what was the shooter aiming at or was it a good choice? The question is, did the shooter have enough confidence?

LOL JPH... it depends, if he thought he was shooting a bear, definitely plenty of confidence... it it was an apple, obviously not enough confidence...
 
here's a thought... what are the chances that this guy went out hunting with his girlfriend's dad/brother and didn't realize that he just wasn't up to par with their standards??

I was a bit worried when I published this poll that some pansy would object. But the only thing that gets you guys fired up is who makes the best broadhead.

It proves my point about straight away shots not being a high percentage kill shot.[:D]

Now that you mention it, he does where antlers on occasion. Maybe deer should have been included in the poll.
