Winter Peas?

Postby gunther89 » Sat Jan 01, 2011 9:21 pm

Has anyone planted Winter Peas?  Do the deer love them or not, and do they hit them once snow is on the ground?  Any help would be appreciated.

Hope I'm not too late . I planted WP and the deer did not touch them. 2 different sites 10 miles apart. One site they pretty much hit everything else I planted and are now digging through the snow in my groundhog radish patch. Dirt everywhere, you'd think wild pigs lived in WI.
The other patch the deer are digging up as well and that has chickory and clover. Unfortunately the season is over and they are only hitting the plots at 2-4 am any way.
