Boone County Bruiser

Here is a picture of a Boone County Buck. I talked to a friend who talked to this guy, Virgil, and said he had just gotten to the spot he was going to hunt, not very far from his truck, when he decided he "had to relieve himself". He got up from his 5-gallon bucket and walked a short distance, only to see this bruiser running.

One shot put him down. As you can see on the left side, the drop tine broke off as the deer was on its death run.

They scored it real tight at 203" ...
