Did pass on a 3-pt a couple of times that the neighbor ended up taking. Did have a couple of nice bucks taken CLOSE to me. For me it certainly was a season of the wrong place at the wrong time.
I don't know what it was like in your area but I would say this was by far the best season I've ever seen since I've been deer hunting in VT. in regards to the quality of bucks. Increased age structured coupled with the mild winter was a recipe for success in 2010, at least in the Northeast Kingdom.
