2010 season tagged out?

Postby 290is » Fri Dec 31, 2010 12:20 pm

just wondering, did you or do you know of any one that has tagged out their 2 bucks and 1 doe? (NOT INTENDED FOR BRAGGING.) just want to know how many are lucky enough to do it.

Technically no but my son shot 2 bucks, one with bow one with shotgun and passed on a few does after that.

DeerAddict-I think that Proline was talking about hunters in Mass. Please don't take this the wrong way but the hunting grounds and deer herds here are not the way they are in Indiana. If you "tag out" here in Mass you have had a awesome year, and hearing or someone in MA "letting one walk" is rare. It usually is the mentality of "if it's brown, it's down"
A man with a gun is a citizen, a man without a gun is a subject.

Hey Piebal do have any pics of that piebald 5pt?  Would be cool to see.

On Mass., yes it is a challange to tag out (never done that) and equally so to get 2 bucks in one season in Mass.  I have done that only once.  I have passed on many deer at times primarily because I won't shoot an immature doe. My boy is 17 and pretty impressive for a kid to hold back.  Can't say I would have at that age.

This was my first year eating my doe tag! I was so excited when my number was drawn but I didn't have a single shot at a doe.I saw a couple bucks during archery and that was it.I Jumped a bunch in the snow this last two weeks but as unable to get a shot at any.

I got a doe in November and missed a nice 8pt with the bow on December 22. (Shot under him at 35 yds) Ah well it was fun chasing them this season.

Ha Ha ! You sound like me! I am not a techno savy person.  Whenever I have to do that I send the photo from my phone to my son who has a blackberry and then he can email it to me at work and bingo I have it and save to my computer. If you cant figure it out you can always send it to my phone and I can do the same thing with it.
