This is my best to date killed 01 02 2011 chasing two does in the deep louisiana swamp. It weighed 195lbs 16 1/2" inside spread and measured 106" total.

Well I didn't have a camera on me but I finally got to go out this evening in what will end up being my last time out with a bow for the 2010 season.  It was a success!!! I ended up seeing a total of 10 deer.  I was able to take 1 of the does with a perfect shot through the heart.  She was a small doe and I'm happy to have her.  Next weekend will be our late late shotgun season and I'm going along with a buddy.  A co-worker has asked for some meat for his family so if I see one I'm going to help him out a little bit.

Finally got a chance to post this pic... tagged out last day of shotgun season. My buddy and I basically walked out into the middle of a field and 3 deer actually started to run straight at me... I took a knee and downed the only one I had a clear shot on... Turned out to be a button buck

Got this Doe on the last day of archery season 30 yards away. Forgot to put my hoyt in the picture though.. ha i saved her hide an turned the meat into home made pepper sticks, long process but alll worth it in the end.
