Does anyone know when deer stop eating cowpeas? They were using mine heavy and now they have disappeared. They are thick and tall. A person has a hard time walking through them. Are they too mature?

I have never had deer quit cowpeas they are one the best deer food plots i think in the fall i broadcast rye seed and let deer work it into the ground and it comes up then u got green in fall and the pea pods are god also even after a freez,i also when planting my cowpeas i add a little bit of scatt milo this combo will pull deer for miles around
