Northwest Oklahoma Deer

I got this 10 point in Northwest Oklahoma Tuesday November 24th at 9:15 AM. Saw lots of does and some small bucks but when this one stepped out there was no hesitation. I love my Browning 25.06!

I shot this deer in Canton in NW oklahoma.

sweet looking deer there. Did you age him? And what did he dress out as? 
The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.

No I havent had him aged he dressed out at 226lbs.He was an old deer though. Where can i take 1 to have it aged so i can do it next time?

I'm in Ohio, nowhere near you. I would suggest you post good pics of the teeth. There are several guys on here who seem be be quite good at figuring tooth wear vs age. You may try your DNR for guides to use for estimating as well. Or they should be able to steer you to someone local who can help. You might also do a search on this site to see if examples have aready been given. Good luck.

How is the deer hunting around Paoli, Oklahoma? Are there any hogs there?
