EPA considering a ban on lead ammo???

Though petitioned by American Bird Conservancy, the rogue EPA has an opportunity to do an end around to take away our guns or at least limit our gun use. Non-lead ammo is quite expensive. Plus once this becomes public knowledge, existing ammo will disappear off the shelves and prices will hit the roof.

The anti-gunners on the left will not rest until every firearm is rendered useless. If they have to make ammo impossible to get in order to achieve their ends, that's what they'll do. Funny -- lead comes out of the ground, but when we put it back into the ground it's a contaminant.

I applaud both the NRA and NSSF for their stand on this issue. We had a similar issue come up in Minnesota because a state senator by the name of Satveer Chaudhray thought it appropriate to offer a bill banning the use of lead shot for upland game hunting in Minnesota. I, for one, wrote to him personally to voice my disdain for his legislation. Fortunately many others must have done the same because after this Mr. Chaudhray admitted he had "not done his homework" on the issue and pulled his legislative offering. They are out there. Those who wish to attack our 2nd Amendment rights, whether it be a frontal attack or an end run around the Constitution. They think they know what is "best" for us. Fortunately for us in Minnesota this issue ended up in the shredder.
