We're planning on putting some watering holes on our properties this year as well.  One thing to note msbadger, I've heard of people using those tubs as well and have thought of putting some in myself, but I talked to a guy yesterday at the deer expo and he said he wouldn't recommend it for the fact that he has heard and seen instances of fawns falling in and not being able to get out.  He recommends something with a gradual slope.   [/align]

That is a good point buckhunter21...though in the many years that particular tubs been in, it's never happened....Now I'll admit that other tubs and pond liners have been above ground with a shale rock border around them...lots of shale here...This is because...as good as frogs are....they breed and raise tad poles in that sunken tub....which is great...but it makes the water a mess and I have to change it out once my little frogs leave....This does not happen when the water tubs are above ground...go figure[;)]
