finding sheds

Is there any truth to this statement...  If you find one shed, the other will typically be within that same area??

Sometimes they fall off almost right next to each other and sometime the buck will carry the one remaining antler for days.

I've never found a matched set myself.

that is what i thought myself i had a friend tell me that and i told him if it was only that easy.

I usually only find one shed per year. You typically don't find truckloads like you see on TV shows.

I put in hours and hours I would say my yearly average is about two sheds!

I didnt put much shed hunting time in this year, Found 3 sheds.
a few years ago I found one side of a 17 pointer that was in our area.
I wanted to find the other side so bad. I surched for days never to
find the other side.
I have found sets from a few deer, When I found sets, They were within
50 feet of each other. Most of the time they were 5 feet apart or less.
