Deer Hunting Joggers: Read This!

Postby Dan Schmidt » Wed Mar 30, 2011 9:51 am

Have any of you guys and gals experienced similar situations while running or biking? Closest I've come was maybe 40 yards ... and that was close enough!

Things get crazy here in MN! What a freak accident. Glad to hear she wasn't seriously hurt.

Was the driver of the red Silverado wearing ScentLok when he hit the deer? I heard that it's easier to do if you're weraing ScentLok.

They said he had a bumper sticker that said, "Forget the wind, just drive".
Keep life simple...if you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras.

This is why when I jog outside, I do it in my car. For added safety, I keep the windows up and the doors locked.

I'm not sure that's safer, unless you don't start the car!
