Postby rmontez » Wed Aug 10, 2011 2:08 pm

Taken during the youth hunt in 09 my middle son Cody got this nice heavy 9 point score 124.5" and during the '10 youth hunt my youngest son Nathan got this 10 point score 124" buck.

Congrats to you and the boys! How old are they?

Two great deer. All three of you must be very proud. Nice.

Cody (middle son) was 12 when he got his and Nathan was 10. Here is a picture of Nathan still in the woods. The mount looks a little different than the deer looked in the woods? I definitely was very proud, I don't remember shooting deer like this when I was a kid.

Better looking bucks than my first, I will tell you that much! Nicely done boys, nicely done! :)
The only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker is observation. All the same data is present for both. The rest is understanding what you are seeing.
