Once entered, a hunter captures their whitetail harvest per APEX requirements to validate a harvest using the provided free 4k camera or any camera of choice. The APEX requirements are fairly simple and are as follows:

• Video of the hunter on day of hunt before or just after a harvest opportunity
• Video of the stand or blind location (a simple pan around the hunting zone)
• Video of the the harvest moment (this is so APEX marshals can verify antler frame in video)
• Video of the the harvest recovery (also take a Smartphone image of the deer recovery)
• Video of the provided antler measuring tape being applied to antlers

All of the above video requirements are then uploaded to the APEX Outdoor Rewards website to be verified by APEX marshals to confirm all requirements and authorize hunter payouts! Hunters have all season to submit their requirements to APEX with all scores being revealed at the end of the deer season. Top scores and Special Harvest Categories are then confirmed by APEX marshals to warrant incredible payouts for its hunters. Each state Whitetail Challenge is limited to only 1,500 entries with a rewards purse of $175,000 and payouts reaching as far as 1,250th place.
