The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission will finalize general regulations for state park and wildlife use areas Thursday at its March meeting.
The commission meeting will be in Greely.
During the meeting, Commissioners also will receive updates on stream habitat improvement efforts, falconry regulations and hold an executive session to review legal issues and property acquisitions related to habitat protection.
The meeting will be held at the Aims Corporate Education Building at 5590 West 11th Street in Greeley, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. A full agenda is available online here.
The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission sets regulations and policies for Colorado’s state parks and wildlife programs. The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission meets monthly and travels to communities around the state to facilitate public participation in its processes. The commission is scheduled to travel to Alamosa, Grand Junction, Walden, Gunnison, Trinidad, Montrose, Lamar and Pueblo in 2013.
