If you’re interested in hunting in California, it’s time to bone up on the new regulations and make sure you have a hunting license.

The California Department of Fish and Game has published its  2012 Big Game Digest. It includes all the updated info on regulations, season dates, quota hunts, bag limits and tag drawings for deer, elk, antelope, sheep and other species.
