What would you do if you were driving merrily down the road, minding your own business and a giant 12-point buck blocked your path?

That’s what happened in this 2012 video we ran across on YouTube from Wayne County, Ohio. Sheriff’s deputies got a call from a motorist who reported a big buck blocking traffic. As with any kind of big game like a mature buck, no one knew what it was doing or might do so they hung out until law enforcement officials arrived.

According to the YouTube post, “the deputies reported that the deer was salivating profusely and had a large growth on its neck. After being unsuccessful in getting the deer to return to the woods the deputies consulted with the Ohio Division of Wildlife and a decision was made to dispatch the animal. The deer was then taken to ODNR for testing.”
