Register For Indiana’s Hunters Helping Farmers

Indiana’s Hunters Helping Farmers program will be active until Aug. 30 to assist hunters and landowners interested in registering for the program.

The Hunters Helping Farmers program is a service that connects hunters who are willing to harvest antlerless deer with landowners who want help removing deer from their properties.

Deer hunters who would like to help remove antlerless deer from private property during the regular deer hunting seasons can have their names added to the Hunters Helping Farmers list by completing an application form at Hunting.IN.gov/5452.htm.

For complete regulations for the upcoming seasons, check out the new Indiana Hunting and Trapping Guide for 2012-13 at Hunting.IN.gov/2343.htm Printed guides will also be available at Indiana Outdoor retailers. For a list of retailers visit Hunting.IN.gov/5334.htm
