Georgia hunters may be able to use suppressors, also known as silencers, if a bill in the state legislature gains final approval.
Supporters of of Senate Bill 301 testified before the Georgia House Game, Fish and Parks Committee last week. But it has not received a second committee hearing date. The bill passed 48-5 in the Senate. If it is not voted on by the House before the current session ends, the bill will die.
