City council members in a West Virginia town are at odds about debating whether to allow bowhunting within the city.
Buckhannon council members tabled the issue last autumn. But it’s been brought up for discussion again, with three members voting to reopen discussion. Two voted against even having any kind of debate about it.
The usual nanny-wag arguments have been trotted out against allowing deer hunting in the city limits. The usual chest-puffed pro-hunting arguments have been trotted out. Both sides will bang the drums again.
