Questions about doe management run rampant through the deer hunting community and often are focused on these three themes: How do you know when, where and how many does to shoot off a given property?
They’re legitimate questions, of course. If you have a lot of deer or don’t have too many, figuring out how many to shoot can be challenging. Or even if you should shoot some, right? What if you’re not shooting many does but your neighbors are whackin’ the snot out of them?
What if you’ve been whackin’ them the last few seasons? Can you shoot too many does? Which does are “evil” and need to be taken out at all costs?
