Wintering whitetails will do whatever it takes to fill their empty bellies. This photo
is certainly testimony to that notion. It also depicts how athletic the whitetail
truly is ‹ nothing will stand in the way of a determined deer. No hill is too steep;
river too deep; or, in this case, no hay stack is too high!
Not sure the exact location of this photo — it was sent to me via a long e-mail chain
via a friend of mine from South Dakota.
