Tara Wildlife in southwest Mississippi is offering a 1-2 archery punch for the ladies that’s pretty tough to beat.

Tara’s Women’s Archery Clinic and Hunt combines three days of archery instruction and discussion — heavy on questions and answers in an easy, informal setting — with a women’s-only bowhunt.

The archery clinic is Aug. 14-16 and includes complete understanding of archery equipment, proper sizing of bow accessories, shot placement, game laws, hunting tactics, harness equipment and safety, target anatomy, tree stand climbing, stand placement, scoring/aging deer and woodsmanship.

The hunting session is a three-day guided archery hunt with the opportunity for one mature buck within Tara/Halpino criteria and one mature doe.
