Rev. Zeke Pipher of Nebraska, a popular contributing writer to Deer & Deer Hunting, will be the special guest this week on Deer Talk Now.

Pipher has been a regular contributor to Deer & Deer Hunting magazine for six years. He writes and speaks regularly on various topics, such as hunting strategies, marriage, parenting, and the life of the sportsman. Pipher is the senior pastor at Heartland Evangelical Free Church in Central City, Neb.

Pipher takes the spotlight this week on Deer Talk Now, the one-hour live webcast about deer and deer hunting. The show is hosted each Wednesday at 12 p.m. CST by Deer & Deer Hunting editor Dan Schmidt  and publisher Brad Rucks. Pipher has been married to his wife, Jamie, for 15 years, and they have three children. They’re in the process of adopting a child from Uganda. He earned his Master of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology, and his Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

The Piphers live in central Nebraska a mile from the Platte River, the perfect place to hike, hunt, fish, camp, swim, chop wood, and train their German wirehair, Ezra.
