When you’re hoofin’ it long distances and/or working to keep your hunting kit simple and streamlined — lightweight, compact, high-quality optics are worth their weight, or lack thereof, in gold. The Vortex Razor® HD 13-39×56 was engineered and built for those exact same scenarios, when ounces and a small profile count. At only 10.4 inches long and 28.6 ounces, the angled model is in a featherweight class of its own. The straight model also measures in at a mere 11.1 inches in length and 29.5 ounces. In addition to its small size, this Razor was created with a snag-free design and user-friendly helical focus wheel, which combine to allow hunters faster deployment when they need to get on a deer quickly before its moves out of sight.

Even though it’s a pint-size package, Vortex didn’t take any shortcuts when it came to the glass in the Razor® HD 13-39×56. Serious hunters know the glass and its features can make or break an optic, and can be the difference between a punched tag or tag soup when a long-awaited hunt is on the line. This scope’s designed with an HD Optical System so it is optimized with select glass elements to deliver exceptional resolution, cut chromatic aberration and provide outstanding color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness and light transmission. Its XR™ Plus Lens Coatings are the ultimate anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces, which provide maximum light transmission for peak clarity and the pinnacle of low-light performance. Dielectric Prism Coatings are multi-layer prism coatings that give bright, clear, color-accurate images. The spotter’s Phase Correction Coating on the roof prism enhances resolution and contrast. And, Apochromatic index-matched lenses correct color across the entire visual spectrum. Plus, it has Armortek® ultra-hard exterior lens coatings to protect the spotter’s glass against scratches, oil and dirt.

Since Vortex knows that the weather conditions during any hunt can change dramatically, the Razor® HD 13-39×56 needs to stand up to any and all punishment. So its rubber armor offers a shockproof, secure, nonslip grip and durable external protection. It is also argon gas purged and O-ring sealed for superior fogproof and waterproof performance in the most extreme conditions. And so that you can utilize it anywhere, the little spotter is tripod adaptable and Arca-Swiss compatible, so you can use it on a standard tripod or car window mount, too.
