Mother Nature’s not always pretty but that’s just part of the deal, and when coyotes find an easy meal of white-tailed deer they’re not going to pass up the opportunity to capitalize on the situation.
A group of hunters was able to help one of two bucks whose antlers became locked while fighting. Coyotes got one of the deer and ate about half of it. The surviving buck was dragging around its carcass and somehow fending off the coyotes when the hunters came upon the scene.
